A new boundary line bridge across the Amur River, connecting the Russian city of Blagoveschensk with China, will have been built within three years. The project is estimated at 14 bln roubles.

The object’s commissioning is scheduled for 2019, the regional press office told Construction.ru.

At present, the final version of the concession agreement between the parties is being drawn up. The document is expected to be signed in June this year. The establishing of the Blagoveschensk branch of the joint company is underway.

In order to assist the project implementation, a joint operation with the administration of the Heilongjiang province has been set up. This will be a toll bridge which will pay off the construction costs within a period of 15 years.

Most of the bridge will be situated on Russian territory, and the rest will be in China.
