In 2016 the Moscow authorities will approve 10 planning designs for industrial zone renovation in the capital of Russia.
The authorities have already approved the plan for the conversion of a part of the “Vorontsovo” industrial zone №35, situated at Profsoyuznaya Street, 66, the press office of the Urban Construction Policy Department told Construction.ru.
Overall, 26 projects will be completed in 2016-2017, including industrial areas reorganized by means of repurposing – 24 planning designs.
Over the last 4 years, a total of 47 planning designs have been approved, 20 of which are at the stage of implementation.
The most significant are the plant named after Likhachev, the “Lenino” and “Verkhniye Kotly” industrial zones, the territory of the former Tushino airfield, and others.
Moscow industrial zones cover an area of 18,800 hectares, 17% of the city’s territory.
