In Sakhalin, an island in the Russian Far East, a criminal case has been initiated against the former director of the “Sakhalin Industrial and Civil Construction” PLC, Gennady Fureev, over alleged abuse of power.
The ex-director, being aware of the enterprise’s debts, sold company property worth 1m roubles at a bargain price and accommodated another enterprise with a 1.5m rouble loan, the Prosecutor’s press office of the Sakhalin region told Construction.ru.
This is what the regional Prosecutor’s Office has revealed within the course of the enterprise’s audit, the results of which have been forwarded to investigators from the Interior Ministry.
