The start of temporary exploitation of the Kerch Bridge railway has been postponed for a year – from December 2018 to December 2019.
This results from the government decree making amendments into the conditions of the state contracts on engineering and construction works at Kerch Bridge site.
“The start of temporary exploitation of the built railway at the site is the 1st of December 2019”, -says the document.
The Kerch Bridge construction is financed from the federal budget within the Federal Target Program entitled “”Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol until 2020”.
The project cost totals 211,9 bln roubles.
Automobile traffic through the bridge will begin in December 2018.
