The foundation stone was laid at a construction site of the future “Donskaya Mansion” greenhouse complex, which is expected to become the largest one in the region.
The facility’s capacity is planned to amount to 11,500 tomatoes and cucumbers per year, the Southern Agrarian News Agency reports.
“Donskaya Mansion” project was acquired by The Technologies of Greenhouse Growth (TTR) Managing Company. The enterprise will be located in the Tarasov district, the territory with natural gas and water deposits. As TTR sales and marketing director Ilya Gamov puts it, this is what makes the project especially attractive.
There is also convenient logistics – greenhouses will be constructed in close vicinity to “Don” M-4 federal highway.
The first phase is scheduled to be put into operation in the third quarter of 2017, the second one – until the end of 2018. The production capacity of the facilities is planned to be about 19 hectares. A total amount of investments will amount to 5 billion roubles.
