The IKEA company has started the construction of the third stage of a distribution center in Yesipovo, the Moscow region.
As Construction.RU was told by the company’s press office, the creation of the own distribution center in Yesipovo will cost the company 8 bln roubles.
The high technology warehouse facility will provide for the requirements of all the 14 shops of the company in Russia. The construction of the third stage will increase the volume of the existing warehouse facility by 190,000 cubic meters, increasing it almost two-fold. The daily supply turnover will make 7,500 different goods. The unique project will use the system of high-rack storage. The height of the system will be 47 meters.
