“Tekhnologii Teplichnogo Rosta” (Technologies of Greenhouse Growth / TTP) managing company intends to build one more powerful greenhouse complex producing vegetables in the Nizhny Novgorod region located in the center of European part of Russia, Kommersant reports on Wednesday.
In order to realize this project, the company’s representatives are currently selecting a plot of land with an area of 10 – 12 hectares as a construction site.
According to experts, investments in construction and equipment of the facility will total no less than 2,4 – 3 billion roubles. The greenhouse is planned to produce up to 5,700 tons of vegetables annually. The project is scheduled to be implemented within 1,5 years.
After that, the capacity of all TTP’s projects will reach 70,000 tons of products per year and the company will become Russia’s leader in production of the protected ground vegetables.
As a reference, at present, TTP owns operating greenhouse complexes in Moscow and Tyumen regions, its greenhouse projects are at the design stage in the Saratov and Astrakhan regions. Also, TTP acquired a greenhouse project in the Rostov region.
