The statement saying that the Kirov authorities took a decision to build three new motorways was published on the official site of the regional government.
Thus, a motorway running from Shavarzhaki up to the border with the Russian Republic of Mariy-El is scheduled to be put in operation by 2021. Construction of the road with the length of 5,41 km is estimated at 398 million rubles ($6,2 million).
The second 9,8-kilometer motorway will be constructed at Urzhum – Buiskoye – the border of the Mariy-El Republic section. This project will cost 695 million rubles ($11 million) and the road is scheduled to be put in operation in 2023.
The third road running from Vyatskye Polyany, through Sosnovka to the border of the Udmurtia Republic will connect the latter with the territory of a left-bank part of the Vyatskopolyansky region.
A 11,63-kilometer road is estimated at 763 million rubles ($12 million). It is planned to be commissioned in 2022.
