Over the period of 2018-2020, the Russian Republic of Udmurtia will receive 1 billion 475 million rubles ($23 million) from the federal budget for the reconstruction of an airport complex of Izhevsk, the capital city of the Udmurt Republic, Russia.




According to statement released by the press service of the Republican State Council, these funds are planned to be allocated within the framework of the state program “The Transport System Development”, “The Civil Aviation” subprogram.

These figures were voiced by the official from the Russian Ministry of Transport, Alexander Kamentsev, at a meeting of the Federation Council’s Committee for Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Government and North’s Affairs.

Airport complex in Izhevsk belongs to JSC Izhavia, 100% of shares of which are owned by the Republic of Udmurtia.
