Yesterday, Russia’s highest Ice Fortress was erected in the Dmitrovsky park located in the Russian city of Rybinsk.




As Construction.RU was told today by the press office of the city administration, the structure with the height of 3,4 meters and the walls’ length of 115,9 meters lays claims to break a record of the Russia’s Book of Records in a category of “The biggest fortress of Russia constructed without specialized machinery.”

Residents of Rybinsk managed to break their own record, since last year, an ice wall with the length of 92 meters was built there. The structure was enlisted in the Book of Records.

It is noteworthy that over 120 people were engaged in construction of the fortress.
