Construction of Leroy Merlin hypermarket began in the territory recently adjoined to Moscow, a so-called New Moscow, Chairman of The State Construction Supervision Committee of the capital city of Russia, Oleg Antosenko, said on Monday.
Mr. Antosenko specified that the hypermarket with a total area of 16,400 square meters was being built in the Russian town of Troitsk, at the expense of an investor. The developer is LLC Leroy Merlin Vostok.
A parking for almost 900 car stalls is also designed to be located at the site, including spaces for people with limited mobility, street-trading pavilion, utility facility.
As reported, construction of another Leroy Merlin hypermarket with an area of 17,500 square meters is underway near the village of Kartmazovo.
