In the Kaluga region, a production plant for fibrolite wall panels for 3,000 housing complexes per year will be constructed.

As reported to Construction.Ru by the regional press service, the new enterprise will be built in the Lyudinovsky special economic zone in the region. The cost of the project is estimated at 3 billion rubles. It is assumed that about 300 jobs will be created at the plant. The technology of the Swedish company Traullit will allow for the manufacture of solid fibrolite wall panels of a format of 3m by 6m and a thickness of 25-50cm, which will be used to build one-storey cottages of up to 150 sq.m in only 1 working day. As the governor of the region, Anatoly Artamonov, noted, construction of the new enterprise will allow for effective forest exploitation in the area, as the consumption of 400,000 cubic meters of low-grade wood a year will result in no waste. The beginning of the construction is planned for October, 2015 and the work is planned to be finished in the middle of 2017.
