The Moscow city authorities have put up for sale part of the apartment building located on Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street, the city Competition Policy Department said on Monday.
“Part of the apartment building located on the corner of Strastnoy Boulevard and Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street is put up for auction with the use of the Unified Trading Platform”, the agency’s press office told reporters.
According to the head of the department, Gennady Degtev, about 1,200 square meters of non-residential premises of the building was put up for auction. It should be noted that three stations of the Moscow Metro — Chekhovskaya, Pushkinskaya and Tverskaya — are situated within walking distance of the building.
The starting price is set at 297 million rubles ($4,2 million). The auction is scheduled to be held on September 12, 2018.
Degtev has stressed that since the house on Bolshaya Dmitrovka is a historical site, the buyer undertakes to fulfill the Federal Law on cultural heritage sites. The house was built in the 18th — early 20th century. In 1841, the founder of a famous Russian art school, Count Sergei Stroganov, lived there.
