American company 3? has put in operation a plant producing fluid antirust coating for the oil and gas industry for 1 bln rubles in SEZ ‘Alabuga’ in Tatarstan.
As Construction.ru was told by the press office of the president of Tatarstan, the plant is the second largest in Tatarstan and the 3M company’s biggest plant in Russia.
Initially, the plant will produce about 2.3m litres of liquid epoxy and polyurethane coatings a year. The investor will continue cooperation with the region.
The decision on the construction of the plant on the SEZ ‘Alabuga’ territory was taken in 2012. Investment in the project totals 992m rubles.
