A third of all fresh foodstuff is sold through the ‘Food-City’ network, which was built and put in operation little more than a year ago.
Speaking about this on November 11th, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin mentioned that a customs station will open in this agro-cluster in the middle of December. It will house about 5,000 cars at one time. More and more Russian regions are coming to this trade hub, in which 26 foreign partners operate.
To remind you, ‘Food-City’ is the largest wholesale and retail food market in Russia. It occupies an area of 88 hectares between the Kievskoye and Kaluzhskoye highways 900m from MRR. The owner of the business is the businessman God Nisanov.
