Russian freight traffic activity is stopped in Turkey

As of February 1st, Russian freight vehicle traffic is no longer possible because of the expiration Turkish permits.

The Association of International Freight has reported on this. The information from the Association says that the expiration date of the permits for 2015 is 31.01.16.

Turkish authorities have not confirmed the permits for 2016. The RF Ministry of Transportation is taking measures to solve the problem. Claims for permit exchange have been sent to Ankara again.

The information says nothing about Turkish transport freight on Russian territory.

The same problem exists in Poland.
