A modern four-lanes “Tavrida” highway from Kerch to Sevastopol will be built in time, by the end of 2018.
This is what the Prime Minister of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, told reporters in Simferopol, on the 22nd of March.
The Simferopol – Evpatoria and Simferopol – Dzhankoy roads will be built until 2020. Sergey Aksenov also pointed out that the issue of approaches to the Kerch bridge concerned an unscrupulous contractor – the “Giprotransmost” company, which implemented the project work.
The contract with that company was torn up following the information that one of the officials of the local Transport Ministry had ties with that organization.
