SGM-Most Ltd, which is conducting work at the Kerch bridge construction site, has filed a complaint with the Arbitrage Court of the Rostov region against the Turkuaz shipping company and the owner of the Lira dry cargo vessel that ran into the ferry’s pole.

The building company is demanding that the Turks pay 35.3m roubles to make up for the damage, the “SGM-Most” press office has told Construction.ru.

As a reference, the Lira dry cargo vessel ran into a pole on the temporary bridge structure on the 19th of March. The ship’s captain is a citizen of Turkey. The dry cargo vessel was sailing under the flag of Belize.

On the 23rd of March, the Arbitrage Court of the Rostov region seized the Lira and prohibited it from leaving the water at the city of Taganrog, where it’s currently docked.
