The “Basic Element” Group, belonging to businessman Oleg Deripaska, intends to build the largest industrial park in the southern Russian town of Ust-Labinsk, in the Krasnodar region.

A new park has been designed for more than 20 industrial objects, the “Vedomosti” newspaper reported on the 15th of April.

There are only two industrial parks in the region at this point. One of them is registered by the “Magnit” chain, the other by the managing company of the “Kuban” industrial park.

Later in 2015, “Kuban” transferred 900 hectares of land, i.e. 1% of its land bank, to the cluster. The land will be used for the processing of agricultural supplies and the production of construction materials.

Plants producing gas-concrete block and processing meat are already operating on the park’s territory, and a factory processing soya beans is being constructed for 550m roubles. Also being worked on are a thermal power plant and a trade and logistics complex.
