Within the framework of the reconstruction of the former area of the Likhachev plant’s industrial zone, new water routes will be mapped along the Moscow River.

This is what the chief architect of Moscow, Sergei Kuznetsov, said on the 11th of May at a public session on the issue of the development of these territories. According to him, the plant’s area is included in a concept of the Moscow River’s development, and this is big advantage.

It will be easy to take a pleasure cruise there as a large ferry will be operating, as well as water trams to the Kremlin and Moscow City.

Such routes are much more economical than those by metro or personal vehicle. At present, the Moscow Transport Department is considering the possibility of expanding transportation across the Moscow River.
