The First Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of Russia, Gleb Nikitin, and the director of the Metallurgy and Materials Department, Ilya Chigir, paid a working visit to the “TEKHNO plant” in Ryazan on Thursday.
Top officials familiarized themselves with the high-tech production of basaltic building insulation, the company’s press office told Construction.ru.
Gleb Nikitin also congratulated the staff of Ryazan’s “TEKHNO plant” on its 10-year anniversary and wished them well in following the established traditions which brought the enterprise deserved recognition – to introduce the most advanced technologies, treat the environment carefully and take care of people.
Besides this, the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of Russia noted, “Today, the export of thermal insulation constitutes a relatively small share in the overall volume of construction materials exports. Having such enterprises as the TechnoNICOL plant for stone wool production in the industry, this segment has good growth potential. Besides this, Ryazan’s plant, supplying the domestic market with readily available and high-quality products, is making a strong contribution in the import substitution strategy being implemented in Russia”.
For his part, Ilya Chigir, emphasized that Ryazan’s stone wool plant is a flag-bearer of mineral insulation by all indicators, both on the Russian and the European markets.
