The authorities of the Samara region have signed a memorandum of cooperation with the representatives of “Chinese railway corporation” LLC to construct the Samara – Kurumoch – Tolyatti railway.
As the regional press office told Construction.ru, China Railways might finance the construction of a high-speed track.
A railway connecting Samara and Tolyatti exists, but it was built a long time ago. Within the framework of this project, this railway is planned to be modernized and its vehicles to be sped up.
The railway will lead to Kurumoch International Airport.
