On the 2nd of June, the authorities of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic have put into operation a gas pipeline, which is separated from the Kiev controlled pipeline in Donbass.
The decision to construct its own gas pipeline with a length of about 4 km has been made following the cutting-off in the city of Pervomaisk of the gas supply from the Donbass territories, which are under Kiev’s control, the press office representative of the Lugansk People’s Republic’s government told reporters on Thursday.
That incident left without gas supplies about 14,000 residents of the city. New pipeline coming from Irmino has been built in the record short terms.
