The authorities of the Kaliningrad region and the French manufacturer of dishware, Arc International, have reached an agreement to construct in the region a factory producing glassware.
According to Interfax news agency, the contract for the building of a factory estimated at 6,2 bln roubles will be signed over the course of the International Economic Forum, which is underway now in Saint Petersburg.
Over 1,000 jobs are planned to be created at the new enterprise. The factory’s capacity will be approximately 40,000 tons of glassware per year.
The facility will be situated in the town of Chernyakhovsk, on the territory of the industrial park.
