The Union of European Football Associations, UEFA, intends to provide playing field covers and render assistance to the Crimean Football Union in the construction of a stadium.
This is what the president of the Crimean Football Union, Yury Vetokha, told reporters in Moscow. According to him, the federal targeted program envisages the reconstruction of the “Lokomotive” stadium, for what the funds have already been allocated, as well as design engineering work has been planned.
Apart from this object, the local authority intend to reconstruct a stadium in the city of Yalta. At present, an option of private and public partnership for the stadium construction is being negotiated.
As a reference, Crimean Football Union with the special status was established in July last year, under the auspices of UEFA.
