The project of “Belomorsky” tourist cluster will be realized on the territory of the Arkhangelsky and Primorsky districts of the Arkhangelsk region until 2018 year end, the governor's press office told Interfax.
A business center and a modern hotel intended for business meetings will become the hub of the cluster. Beside this, the construction of a pier has been planned to be built in Solovetsky village.
976,5 m roubles from non-budgetary funds have been allocated to the project's implementation and 325 m roubles – from the federal budget.
“By establishing a cluster with a considerable investment component, we expect to increase the number of Russian and foreign guests, improve tourist and business image of the region”, - noted regional governor, Igor Orlov.
