According to some assessments, the housing and utility sector of Russia requires 0,5 trl roubles of annual investments.
This is what Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, said on Tuesday at a meeting on the subject of implementation of efficient equipment in the housing and utility sector in the city of Noginsk. The Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities, Mikhail Menn, also took part in the meeting.
According to him, equipment and infrastructure of the housing and utility sector is becoming morally obsolete, especially this winter it will require special attention. Repair of its infrastructure requires allotment of large amount of funds, that is why implementation of new technologies is underfunded.
Hence, the main task is to attract private capital and create an investment-friendly environment, stimulate the investments, - stressed Dmitry Medvedev.
