Huge water tower collapses in Belarus

On the 3rd of July, a water tower structure collapsed in Polovtsy village located in the Kopylsky region in Belarus.




According to the press office of the Republican Emergency Ministry, it was informed about the incident approximately at 5 p.m. local time.

This structure with a height of 10 meters was built in 1978. The building was made of metal and supplied five facilities of a dairy farm with water. There was no casualties on the scene.

The enterprise’s employees arranged transportation of water in storage tanks. A special commission is working on the scene to establish the circumstances of the incident.

Following the commission’s conclusions, a proceeding decision to be taken.
