In 2017, Russian Ministry of Finance will curtail twofold budget spending on the roads construction and overhaul, director of Inter-Budgetary Relation Department, Larisa Yeroshkina, told on Monday.
However, road construction isn’t the only budget article that falls within contraction. As Yeroshkina put it, all inter-budgetary transfers will be cut by 15,5% in 2017, first of all, the contraction will impact public subsidies.
“Transfers, which are connected with providing support for the regions’ construction activity, will be curbed approximately twofols”, - said Yeroshkina.
Over the course of the meeting in the city of Kazan, she reminded that since 2014, a stage-by-stage annulment of federal subsidies in the regions’ taxes has been implemented.
