Within the framework of the local program of wastes treatment in Kemerovo, the city located in southwestern Siberia, the construction of the largest waste recycling plant is scheduled to be launched in 2017.




Over 1 bln roubles will be invested in construction work and the enterprise’s equipment, TASS reports on Monday citing a vice-governor Anatoly Lazarev. When the facility starts its operation at full capacity, it will be capable to process waste coming from half of the Kemerovo region’s territory.

It is just dissolving waste that is planned to be utilized. The stuff, which can not be dissolved, will be sorted and sent for processing. According to the available data, 2,319 bln tons of production waste and consumption residual have been registered in the region over the period of 2015.
