KAMAZ, a Russian truck manufacturer located in Tatarstan, became the main partner of Mercedes-Benz company in implementation of the project of its plant construction in Russia.
This is what Russian and foreign media reports on Friday citing a director general of Mercedes-Benz company in Russia, Jan Madeja. According to this information, the domestic truck manufacturer isn’t going to make its investments in the project.
The partnership of two companies will be realized in accordance with an agreement of industrial assembly. The new factory’s products will be released depending on the demand on the Russian market. Nevertheless, the design capacity of the enterprise will remain at the level of 25,000 vehicles per year.
