Jeff Monson, a famous mixed martial artist from the USA and a two-time winner of the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship, plans to build an advanced sports camp on the plot of land granted to him within the Russian national program “The Far-Eastern Hectare” aimed to attract settlers to this region of the country.

The Agency for Human Capital Development in the Far East published on Friday a video clip, which features Jeff Monson calling on volunteers to come and carry out work from scratch at the construction site.

When the camp is completed, Jeff Monson will teach the youth to be masculine and go into sports. “Join us! Let’s go to develop the Far East! Are you with me? Then let’s go!,” said Monson in his video address.

As a reference, The Far-Eastern Hectare law came into effect on the 1st of June. According to it, all Russian citizens get the right to receive on a non-repayable basis the plots of land in Yakutia, the Kamchatka, Primorsky, Khabarovsk, Amur, Magadan and Sakhalin regions.

Jeff Monson was granted Russian citizenship in November 2015.
