Construction of two strings of the Turkish Stream pipeline might be completed earlier than it was scheduled for December 2019, the head of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, said today in an interview in Moscow.
According to Alexey Miller, preschedule work completion is connected with the fact that the company has an extended experience of subsea gas pipelines construction. But it was Turkish company, Botas, that will be engaged in building land infrastructure for gas supplies on Turkish market.
As for the transit infrastructure, which is planned to be built on the Turkish territory and is intended for gas supplies on the European market, a joint enterprise will be created for that purpose.
