Turkey is ready to build a mosque in Estonia, in case Estonian authorities will not object, said the head of Turkish Foreign Ministry Mevlut Cavusoglu, who paid a visit to Estonia, Interfax news agency reports.
“If Estonians agree, we would be happy to build a mosque in Tallinn or somewhere else. We would be pleased to support it,” said Mr Cavusoglu, speaking on Thursday at the Foreign Ministry of Estonia.
According to him, representatives of moderate Islam must actively convey their message. Otherwise, people will more exposed to the influence of radical Islam supporters, warned Turkish Minister.
“This concerns many European countries as well. Turkish Department for Religion Affairs resists any radicalization,” assured Mevlut Cavusoglu.
