Moscow and Baku need to establish a special-purpose fund to finance joint projects, says the head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, who is participating in the Seventh Azerbaijani-Russian regional forum in the city of Baku.
Within the framework of the forum, the issues of interregional cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan will be considered, as well as perspective infrastructure projects, economic cooperation in the interregional area, troubles and prospects of Azerbaijani-Russian humanitarian space.
“Azerbaijan and Russia should set up a special fund to finance joint projects and agreements,” Ramazan Abdulatipov explained to the reporters.
According to him, each of the subjects of the Russian Federation might sign dozens of such agreements. The head of Dagestan added that such agreements should be bolstered by specific projects.
