A Chinese company constructing a railway tunnel in the west of Georgia, China Railway 23rd Bureau Group Co. Ltd, has demanded that the authorities of that Caucasian country released Chinese workers, who had been detained for scuffle in Zvare village on the 3rd of November.

A total number of three employees have been detained. The company’s statement published on Friday says that the information on physical abuses, wjich were allegedly caused by Chinese workers to their Georgian colleagues and local residents, is not consistent with the reality.

By contrast, China Railway 23rd Bureau Group Co. Ltd claims that, in fact, an insignificant conflict between its employees and the local took place, and it was caused by the misappropriation of timber by the resident of Zvare village located in Kharagaul region of Georgia.
