A three-storey building of a railroad station is put in operation at Vostochny Cosmodrome located in the Amur region, in the Russian Far East, the press office of Russian Federal Construction Agency told Construction.RU today.
New railroad station, named “Promyshlennaya-1” is located at the road section connecting facilities of the Cosmodrome with Tran-Siberian Railway. The station is designed for reception and dispatch of cargoes intended for Vostochny Cosmodrome, as well as for employees’ transportation.
The railroad area is over 2,800 square meters, where over 100 premises are located.
The station also includes a building of a traffic department, a depot, a boiler-house, a fire safety station for two vehicles, a parking place.
