A design concept for Hyperloop transport system in the UAE has been revealed by Bjarke Ingels Group, a Danish architect group, The Global Construction Review reports.
The Hyperloop, an autonomous network invented by Elon Musk, which is intended to connect Dubai and the UAE’s capital city of Abu Dhabi, will move at speed of up to 1,100km/h and pass the route for 12 minutes.
Bjarke Ingels Group’s design is based on a study of “how an urban and inter-city transport network should integrate with existing infrastructure”. According to this concept, the main goal is to “eliminate waiting from the passenger experience”.
The stations will be called portals with departure gates being immediately visible upon entering the portal. A small unit-size pod is designed to hold up to six persons.
