Stadia intended for World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Russia in 2018, will be built to a good quality and in time, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday.
“As for the stadia, I’d like to assure you that everything will be done in time, on schedule and to a good quality,” Vladimir Putin said over the course with his meeting with workers of Avtodizel enterprise in the Russian city of Yaroslavl.
The President reminded that the games would be held in 11 cities of Russia at 12 stadia. “Everything is on the run, there are some delays, but they are of temporary technological nature. Everything will be completed,” added Mr Putin.
The first world football championship organized on the territory of Russia will be held from the 14th of June to the 15th of July 2018.
