Paged, a Polish company, plans to build its plywood factory in the Russian region of Nizhny Novgorod, the press office of the regional Ministry of Investments, Land and Property Relations told Construction.RU on Monday.
Now the investor is examining nine potential construction sites, at one of which will the projected enterprise will be built.
In December 2016, the company’s representatives will arrive in Nizhny Novgorod, where they will assess investment attractiveness of the region.
The investor intends to allocate over 2 billion roubles in the project. Two hundred jobs to be created at the enterprise.
The Nizhny Novgorod region is situated in the Volga Federal District of Russia. There are over 650 industrial companies employing nearly 700,000 people. The leading sectors are engineering and metalworking, chemical industry and forestry, as well as woodworking and paper industries.
