Police of the Russian city of Vladivostok detained Sergey Zaporozhets, the head of “Nash Dom – Primorye”, a company engaged in construction of Hyatt hotels.

According to the local media, detention of Sergey Zaporozhets is more likely connected with a criminal case of the United Directorate for Construction in the Primorsky region. Its head, Igor Sologub, is suspected of receiving a bribe over the period of building a micro-district for militaries in Vladivostok.

We should remind you that last October, ex-director of “Nash Dom – Primorye” contracting company, Marina Lomakina, was charged with abuse of authority at Hyatt hotel construction.

By the way, this is the first upper class hotel in Vladivostok. Construction of two 5-star hotels was launched within the framework of preparation for APEC-2012 summit, but wasn’t completed in time. The cost of the sites has been constantly increased due to errors in design engineering.
