One of the 5-star Hyatt hotels in the Russian city of Vladivostok might be put up for auction late in June, the Primorsky region’s governor, Vladimir Miklushevsky announced today.
“We are ready for that, what is left to do is to sort things out with some documents. I suppose, approximately at the end of June we will announce the auction. It will be public and transparent”, - said Miklushevsky over the course of the interactive “Direct Line” on Friday.
The governor pointed out that the funds derived in the sale of the building at the Burny Cape will be allotted to the social needs.
Early in April the media reported that a Chinese company showed its interest in purchase and further construction of the Hyatt hotel in Vladivostok. It’s notable that the Far East and Baikal Region Development Fund, a subsidiary of Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vneshtorgbank) intends to grant a loan at a soft lending rate to investors willing to continue the hotel construction.
