Elkus JSC plans to invest 2 billion rubles ($31 million) in construction of a multi-functional scientific center in the Moscow district in Saint Petersburg, the company’s director general, Sergey Khvoshch announced over the course of the City Investment Council.
“The project is being realized on a plot of land with an area of 0,56 hectares, an amount of investments totals 2 billion rubles,” he said. According to him, these will be internal funds of the company. The project is scheduled to be implemented between the years of 2017 and 2019.
The scientific center will be engaged in researched intended for the space industry and defense procurement and acquisition within the framework of import substitution programs.
