$23,5m allocated to building new terminal in Crimean airport

Russian National Commercial Bank has transferred 1,5 billion rubles ($23,5 million) of a loan to construction of a new terminal at Simferopol airport.

As the organization announced today in its press release, this is another tranche of almost 14 billion roubles of a credit line intended for the construction of a new passenger terminal with an area of 78 thousand square meters.

We should remind you that the bank extended a line of credit to the airport of almost 14 billion rubles for the period of 15,5 years.

In late November 2016, construction of a skeleton of the new terminal complex was launched at the airport of Simferopol. The works are scheduled to last until 2018, after that the airport's capacity will increase to 6.5 million passengers per year.
