The number of requests submitted by Russians for elite real property in New York and Miami has grown by 35%, after a Republican candidate Donald Trump won the presidential elections.

This data was provided by Knight Frank international consulting company. According to experts, before the year 2014, when there was a sharp deterioration of relations between Russia and the United States and economic sanctions were imposed, the demand on the part of Russians for luxury properties in the United States had been at a high level and amounted to about 15% of a total number of enquiries for overseas property submitted to Knight Frank.

However, by the end of 2015, the USA has not even entered the list of top ten countries by the number of deals with the Russian counterparts, while the number of requests dropped by more than three times.
