As early as 2017, an operational 3D map of the Moskva River is expected to be created in the capital city of Russia.

This is what the chief architect of Moscow, Sergei Kuznetsov, said today at a press conference.

According to him, the map will put together all the projects planned to be developed in Moscow, as well as all potential areas for construction will be indicated there.

Taking in consideration the usefulness of this initiative, in the course of time it will turn from a paper project into a construction one.

As a reference, the Moskva River is situated in western Russia. It rises about 140 km west of Moscow, and flows east through the Smolensk and the Moscow region, passing through central Moscow.
