A large aqua park, which received the name of “Wonder Island”, was put in operation today in the Russian city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky located in the Far East.
As Construction.RU was told by the regional press office, its equipment and execution of all activities at a construction site over the course of two years cost 625 million rubles ($10,5 million). Builders form North Korea took part in the construction works.
This is the first tourist facility opened on Kamchatka within the framework of establishing there a territory of advanced social and economic development. “Wonder Island” contains a full set of recreation and entertainment water attractions, cafes and saunas.
