Mexico expects to establish good relations with new U.S. Administration, after the President-elect Donald Trump takes the office, however, it is not going to pay for construction of the wall on the border between two countries.
This statement was made by Mexican President, Enrique Peña Nieto, TASS news agency reports on Thursday. Earlier, Mexican leadership said that it would not pay for the erection of a fencing between the two states.
“We have differences with the United States, for example, the wall, for which we will not pay, but we expect to have good relations,” Nieto said, speaking at an annual meeting with ambassadors and consulates of Mexico.
As a reference, on the 11th of January, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump announced that he would launch construction of a wall on the border with Mexico, before the negotiations were over.
