Police of Ukraine conducted searches in an office of Poltava Gas&Oil company, which is a subsidiary of JKX Oil&Gas owned by famous oligarch Ihor Kolomoyskyi, Rambler News reports on Thursday with the reference to the company's statement.
“Yesterday Ukraine's national police conducted unexpected searches in offices of Poltava Gas&Oil subsidiary company. The searches are the part of an ongoing investigation, which was reported on the 15th of June 2016,” the statement reads.
The company notes that Poltava Gas&Oil company is cooperating with the investigation and believes that the repeated searches are groundless.
“We will raise this question at the realative governmental bodies in Kiev. I believe that these actions negatively affect investment climate in Ukraine,” a director general of JKX Oil & Gas, Tom Reed, said.
