American Hines suspends negotiations on purchase of Metropolis tower in Moscow

Hines, an American investment fund, has suspended negotiations on the purchase of one more office high-rise building with an area of 28,000 square meters in Metropolis multi-purpose complex located in northern Moscow.




According to Kommersant newspaper, a potential buyer took a break in negotiations for the purpose to make further assessment of political environment in Russia.
Market experts told the newspaper that the deal would be a favourable one for Hines. Jointly with PPF Real Estate, a Czech company, Hines own two office buildings with an area of 82,000 square meters in Metropolis. The American company will engage in operative management of these business centers. Apert from that, it owns the half of the trade spaces in the complex.
As it was reported earlier, the Russian Direct Investments Fund, Mubadala sovereign fund from the United Arab Emirates and Accent Group showed their interest in acquisition of offices in Metropolis.
